Go Go GOA ???????????
This month, I have to dedicate my blog to this sensational trip to GOA via Mumbai via Lonavala and khandala.
Well it began with my determination that this Christmas, I will celebrate in Goa by any means. So the plan begins and I decide to leverage my management, marketing skill to squeeze this opportunity. It began with collecting local intelligence about roti, kapada and makan in goa. It was a discouraging feed from friends who suggest it is the worst time to go to goa because everything is priced exorbitant and my trip will burn a hole in my pocket.
But I was determined, with the help of my friend, well arranged free accommodation in Goa and planned to go via Mumbai after a brief stay.
But on our way to Mumbai, we stopped the bus on high way and went to lonavala and khanadala and stayed there enjoying the natural scenery. Then we moved to Mumbai and stayed at my friend’s sister house for some time and then my visit began for goa via road.
One learning never travel to goa by bus, it is really a challenging experience, because you travel through a lot of steep mountain roads. I reached Goa and my fun time began. I enjoyed a lot at the beach Calangut, baga and Anajana. But I didn’t visit every spot in goa and every watersport, so that I have something new to explore on my next visit.
On the night of Christmas the whole city was carnival. I went to Titos, the most poular pub in GOA, but found being stag is not worthwhile trying getting in. So we used some local intelligence and found about another pub called Kamakhi adjacent to Titoos and enjoyed the whole night with beautiful “daffodils” till early morning.
Overall Goa was a great experience. One more info for future traveler to Goa, always carry cash when traveling in Goa, ATM’s are still a luxury there.
So go enjoy the life at GOA.
